Is it possible to shorten the first stage of labor with my dog by walking her?
My Airedale dog is expecting her first litter of puppies. She didn’t eat much of her dinner last night and none of her breakfast this morning. She hasn’t been whining, but she is not moving much and sleeps alot. I wonder if getting her to her feet and taking some short walks might help get the second stage of labor going. Her vet is closed until Monday. Any suggestions?
That might help. Try taking her temp too. If it is below 100 than the puppies will come in the next 12 to 24 hours.
